How to book group yoga classes
From December 2024, we will be using Acuity to book and pay for group yoga classes. Here are some FAQs about bookings. If you have any more questions or want help making a booking, please get in touch.
Q: Why are there different prices for different online group classes?
A: Our group yoga classes are organized in monthly sessions. There are normally 3-5 classes per monthly session, depending on how the calendar falls in that particular month. For example, there may be 4 classes on a Monday session, but only 3 classes for the Thursday session. Each individual class costs the same amount (£11, for online group classes in 2025). You can see the specific class dates when you make a booking.
Q: I can’t attend one of the classes in the monthly session, can I get a refund?
A: I don’t offer direct refunds, but I will give you credit towards your next booking. Just let me know at least 3 hours before your scheduled class time. You can apply this to rule to multiple classes in the same month.
Q: I want to ‘drop in’ rather than committing to a month of classes, is this possible?
A: Yes, but please email alison@alisonbutlernorfolk.co.uk to check availability for the date you want to attend. If there is space for you, I’ll send you the class link. You can either pay as you go (£15/class in 2025) or use credit if you have missed a class in another session. Drop-ins are not possible at our garden yoga classes.
Q: How do I book using Acuity?
A: It’s pretty easy! Click on the link at the top of this page to find the current list of group classes, then choose the class you want to attend. You’ll need to input your name and email address, and confirm that you’ve previously completed a client form, then you can go straight to the payment page. If you have credit or want to attend a class for 30 minutes only, click on ‘redeem package’ to apply your code. Then pay using any debit or credit card. We hope to add Apple Pay and Google Pay soon. You can create an Acuity login if you want to save your details, but it’s optional.
Q: That sounds really complicated, is there another way to book?
A: Yes, if you’re cautious about online shopping we can arrange for you to pay me directly using BACS or cash, then I’ll book your classes on your behalf. You’ll still receive the automated emails (see below).
Q: How do I get ready for my class?
A: 12 hours before your class time, you’ll receive an automated email reminding you about the arrangements. For online classes, this will include a Zoom link and a list of props to prepare. If you’re someone who likes extra reminders, we can also send you an automated text message 1 hour before the class time.
